What makes your hummus and pesto different?
We use premium organic ingredients: family‑farm chickpeas, stone‑ground tahini, Napa Valley extra‑virgin olive oil, fresh basil and pine nuts, and real 24‑month Parmigiano Reggiano (optional). Everything is made weekly in small batches for peak freshness.
Is Chicao a healthy Nutella alternative?
Yes. Chicao is a cacao‑date chickpea spread sweetened naturally with Medjool dates. It’s vegan, free of refined sugar, and made with organic cacao and organic virgin coconut oil. It’s creamy, chocolatey, and great on toast, fruit, or by the spoon.
Where do you deliver?
We offer local pickup and delivery around the Bay Area service radius listed on our order page. If you’re unsure, start an order and enter your address — the site will let you know if you’re in range.
How long do these products last?
Because our spreads are fresh and free of preservatives, we recommend enjoying them within 5–7 days when refrigerated. Pesto can also be frozen for longer storage — spoon into a silicone tray, freeze, then store portions in a sealed bag.
Are your spreads gluten‑free and vegan?
Golden Hummus and Chicao are vegan and gluten‑free. Fresh Basil Pesto contains dairy (Parmigiano Reggiano) but can be made vegetarian; it’s naturally gluten‑free.
